Exit Interview
 

Some companies make a practice of having a formal interview with all employees who decide to leave the company (or are fired). An exit interview is typically a meeting between human resources personal and a departing employee.

Exit interviews can clearly mark a company's competitive strengths or weaknesses and allow company to answer to several questions as finding out why the person is leaving, if voluntary, getting feedback on company to spot any needed areas of improvement and reminding the employee of his or her confidentiality obligations. Through exit interview company can analyzed and tracked those trends which cause employee satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
